Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has successfully resolved the legal cases associated with the company in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), according to CEO Punit Goenka. During an analyst briefing, Goenka assured that the pending cases before the tribunal are unrelated to ZEEL and do not pose a hindrance to the impending merger between Zee and Sony. He also mentioned that the NCLT recently dismissed IDBI’s insolvency plea against the company.
Goenka emphasized that ZEEL is actively exploring all legal avenues to address any potential obstacles that may arise during the merger process. By addressing the matters in the NCLT that are remotely linked to the company, ZEEL has taken significant steps towards resolving legal concerns.
